The only programming environment that can be used in EECS280 section 7, is using g++ on a UNIX-type machine. All programs will be compiled using g++ and executed on either a Linux-based or Solaris-based machine.

If you wish to use your own IDE (i.e. Microsoft Visual C++, CodeWarrior, etc) it is your responsibility to ensure it will compile and run correctly as described above. Support will not be provided in mapping from one IDE to another, and if your program works in MSVC++, but not on UNIX using g++, the program will be considered incorrect. We simply are not able to try each program on each IDE.
