High level design

Our design uses the MPC823 microprocessors available in the lab as the central processing unit, Nintendo gamecube controller for the input device, and 320x240 LCD display as the output device.

We use an FPGA to resolve communication between the processor, the gamecube controller and the Analog-Digital converter. For the LCD display, we used the on board MPC823 lcd controller.

The circuit we needed was just a small voltage regulator to achieve the 3.34V supply voltage to the controller. We also need another power supply to supply 25V to the LCD display.
