Conclusions

  1. Feasibility
We have proved that it is possible implement our Physical Fitness Test! It works for the Shuttle and the Sit Ups test. The functionality and size of the device could be much improved with additional components, and made more compact by replacing the circuitry on the breadboard onto a sleek PCB board.

  2. Processing Power
We did not need more processing power. By choosing a more powerful processor(M3 instead of SmartFusion), we had enough processing power.

  3. How would you do it differently given what you know now?
If we could do it all again, our group would at first think of a more reasonable project for the given amount of time.  Our project was originally ambitious, broad, and large. If we were to do it again, we would focus on a small subset of the tasks first, and build upon that. Also, we would then start RIGHT AWAY. When Dr. Brehob tells you to start right away, he means it. Another thing we would change is do our absolute best to get everyone in the lab at the same time by setting up group appoint times, instead of working seperately on our own parts. We were most efficient when all group members in the lab to help each other debug the parts.
