Poster Content

Posters can be composed using Microsoft Power Point. Consider the following when making your poster.
Poster Printing

The department no longer support poster printing. You will have to pay for it yourself. The Duderstadt Goundworks center will print a 32 x 40 inch color print for about $44. The Architecture school has the best deal for about $25. Be sure to allow 24 hours for either service.

Easels and backboards will be provided at the presentation.

Poster Examples

ESome examples from past projects are provided below. They do not necessarly follow the template or suggestions provided above. Many of these are sized for 36 by 40 inch so you will have to resize them if you use them as starting points. To set the size your poster:
  1. Go to the Design tab and select Page Setup.
  2. A dialog box will appear similar to the one on the right. Enter the width and height of the page. The slide orientation (portrait or landscape) will automatically adjust based on the page sizes entered.
  3. Click OK.
  4. If the rulers are turned on (on the View tab check the Ruler box), you will be able to see that the slide is now the size you entered.
