Textbook for the course; a good way to do readings if you don't buy it.
A.V. Oppenheim & R.W. Schafer, Discrete-Time Signal Processing.
A classic textbook on Digital Signal Processing, but just too big a gulp.
J.H. McClellan, R.W. Schafer, M.A. Yoder, Signal Processing First.
The text for the (no longer extant) lower-level DSP course EECS 206.

PROBLEM SETS:

Weekly problem sets assigned on Thursdays, due in class 1 week later.
No problem sets during exam weeks. No late problem sets accepted.

EXAMS:

3 80-minute closed-book (1-2 "cheat sheets" allowed) in-class exams.
All exams take place in 1500 EECS during the normal lecture time.
There will be no final exam on December 23!

Problem Sets:	25%	Enough to ensure that you do them
3 Exams 25%:	75%	1½ hour, closed-book, cheat sheet
Total # Points:	100	No exam counts too much or little

COLLABORATION: You may work with other students on problem sets. Engineering is
a collaborative discipline, and learning to work in teams is an important part of your education.
HOWEVER, you must write up the FINAL form of your submission entirely on your own.
You may not use, or in any way derive any advantage from, solution sets for previous years.
