General Windows Printer Installation Instructions
1. Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners
2. Select "Add Device" > Add Manually
3. Select "Add a printer using a IP address or hostname"
4. Enter the IP address of the printer, or printerhostname.eecs.umich.edu
5. Printer should be added successfully
Windows Xerox Printer Installation Instructions
1. Click on the link and click I agree and Download.
2. Then XeroxSmartStart_X.X.XX.X.exe will download to your computer and you should be able to click on it directly from your browser in order to run it.
3. Now it might find the printer you are looking for. If it does list it then click on Quick Install. If it doesn’t find it then click on Don’t See Your Printer?
4. Now type printerhostname.eecs.umich.edu as shown in the example below and click Advanced Search.
5. Now click Install.
6. Finally click Done or Install Another Device. You might want to click on Print a Test Page, in order to test it out.
